Join us as we visit a former supermarket in Amsterdam East, the butcher’s counter which now houses the bar from where we’ll be ordering our drinks!

Bar Basquiat’s entire interior not only pays homage to the building’s past, but also creatively dances around a theme that inspired its name. American graffiti artist and poet Jean-Michel Basquiat is the star in here. You’ll find traces of him in the paint splattered walls, neon signs in scribbled handwriting font and snippets of his poetry littered throughout the venue.
