Cold Mother’s Day ahead but Spring weather coming next week

Remember how this could be the coldest month of May in the last 30 years in the Netherlands? Well, we might be getting lucky! According to RTL Nieuws, a dry and sunny week is approaching where temperatures might reach 20 ° C. However, this weekend will remain quite cold through Mother’s Day.

On Friday, the day will start cloudy in areas in the Netherlands and there might be showers in the south and east of the country. The temperature will rise from northwest to southeast to 12 ° C to 15 ° C. By evening there will be no rain.

The weekend will be cold one including on Mother’s Day on Sunday. According to Weerplaza, the weather in the Netherlands is usually dry and sunny during Mother’s Day, but not this year. The average maximum temperature on Mother’s Day is around 18 ° C, but this year will be at 11 ° C, to 14 ° C. Although it will cold, the sun will be out, making for a beautiful Mother’s Day.
