We’re in for a treat, as the weather this week in the Netherlands is going to be lovely! Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect! Now, you might have a few Dutchies complaining that it’s boiling hot. But for the rest of us who have been craving for some ‘tropical’ weather, this week is just for us!
Today (Monday)
Today is expected to be the ‘coldest’ day of the week. With a forecast of 20 degrees Celsius, the day is going to be a mixture of cloudy and sunny. The weather is perfect for a Monday! You won’t be sad you’re stuck inside, instead of being at the beach, but you also won’t be dying because of the heat at the office.
Tuesday
Tuesday we’re pretty much looking at the same weather. Sunshine and clouds, with a weather forecast of 20 degrees Celsius. No chances of rain either! Apollo is still going easy on the Netherlands at this point.
Wednesday
Now Wednesday is where the fun begins! With an expected forecast of 24 degrees Celsius and a whole lot of sunshine, Wednesday is the day when Dutchies will definitely start complaining about how hot it is. On the other hand, the rest of us heat loving people will finally find a reason to come out of our caves. And who said that Wednesdays suck?
Thursday
Thursday is expected to be the hottest day of the week. With a forecast of 25 degrees Celsius and a whole lot of sunshine, it will be the perfect time to start setting up your weekend mood. Go to go to the beach, or grab a beer at a terrace – there are so many ways to enjoy the good weather in the Netherlands. Just don’t forget to bring your sunglasses!
Friday
Friday the 13th is going to be hot too! An expected 24 degrees Celsius and still a lot of sun. Us heat loving people are just getting spoiled with good weather. Just watch out on that fatal day, because you don’t want the heat getting to you! If you’re sensitive to the sun, make sure to drink a lot of water and wear sunscreen. In the mean time, the rest of us hot weather lovers will bathe in this heat from hell.
Saturday
Oh, and just in case you’re wondering, so far the weekend is looking pretty good as well! Saturday is going to be pretty much the same as Friday, with a forecast of 24 degrees Celsius. Fingers crossed that it won’t change by then!

We had beautiful weather in Venlo and then further north and west. We already had 3 weeks of good weather living in the West of Scotland, and since coming back from the Netherlands it is still great weather here.
