Kitten travels through half of the country, gets reunited with owners

There’s nothing worse than realising that your pet has gone missing. This was a reality for this cute kitten owner, whose kitten had jumped into the back of a courier van and went for ride through half of the Netherlands. Can’t blame the cat for wanting to explore.

Once the delivery driver reached Brabant, he realised that the kitten was in the back of the van. He contacted the nearest veterinary practice, De Meierij in Sint-Oedenrode, who took to Facebook in order to attempt to find the owner as the kitten was not chipped. The post was shared over 17,000 times and it seemed to have done the trick, as the owner contacted the practice.

Where did the kitten go?

The question we all really want to know – where did the kitten travel to? According to the practice the kitten went to:

1. Ijsselstein business
2. Leersum-broekweg
3. Lelystad-omg waterwijk
4. Thunder-worth
5. Axles-oostersingel
6. Hengelo-rechterenstraat
7. Doetinchem-Aalbos
8. Arnhem-schoolmeesterwaard
9. Asten-small heitrak

The kitten is actually from Asten, over 40 km from where where the kitten was found. We’re currently awaiting the travel update on its Instagram. It seemed like the kitten just want to ‘find itself’ – #travelgram

What a furry ball of cuteness!
