Born and raised in Istanbul, Ceren moved to Doha when she decided to follow her own Dutchie. Being restless by nature, she is now busy with everything Dutch by majoring in Dutch Studies at Leiden University while living in Delft.
Aurora is an Italian PhD student from Groningen. She has been living in the Netherlands for two years and is by now familiar with many Dutch habits... But still finds plenty of reasons to be pleasantly (most of the time) amazed by this industrious country and its brutally honest inhabitants!

Lachlan is a native Australian copywriter currently living in The Netherlands. He's a fish out of water, and spent his first 18 years living by the beach in his hometown of Gerringong before moving to Canada. Lachlan's time in Amsterdam consists of exploring the city and trying to convince his mates back home he doesn't spend every waking moment in a coffee shop.
Sam isn’t great at being Dutch. Originally hailing from Australia, she came to study in the Netherlands without knowing where the country was on a map. She once accidentally ordered the entire ice-cream menu at Smullers. She still can’t jump on the back of a moving bike. But, she remains fascinated by the tiny land of tall people.
Erik is Firmly footed in Nijmegen and is an editor at a local newspaper called De Nijmeegse Stadskrant. He works in the field of environmental finance at BankTrack, a watchdog of banks and their financing regarding environment, sustainability and human rights. He considers himself a Sherlockian.
Janneke is a translator, copywriter and business owner. A true digital nomad. Born and raised in the Netherlands, calling Rotterdam home.
