It’s going to be a hot weekend for us all in the Netherlands!

Good news for the Netherlands – the sunny weather is going to continue! It’s pretty weird because it feels like forever ago that we have properly seen some rain (which is unusual for the Netherlands). I’m sure it will bite back with a vengeance once the summer is gone. Thank thee Lord that the Dutch are so great at water management!

The utter confusion that summer is still here… in summer!

So, what does the weather actually have in store for us?

Saturday

Saturday is a lovely, clear and sunny day, with temperatures just reaching the mid-20s. It’s going to get pretty cool later on into the night though, where it drops down to 13 degrees Celcius. That isn’t a bad thing though – nothing worse than when the temperature doesn’t really drop and you’re trying to sleep in a room without air-con. Silver lining and all that. 😉

Sunday

Sunday is the nicest day, with clear blue skies again and temperatures creeping into the late 20s. This is definitely a day to fire up and BBQ and have an excuse to invite everyone around. Plus it’s the World Cup Final!

Next week

More good news: the weather is here to stay next week by the looks of things! Temperatures will continue to be in the mid-high 20s. Next weekend is looking a bit iffy though, but it’s early days. Enjoy it while the sun is still shining!
