Ajax stunningly beat Real with 1-4. The rest of the world is deeply impressed, Real depressed

Ajax is celebrating a stunning victory in the eighth finals of the Champions League after destroying cup winner Real Madrid. In Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, home of Real, Ajax won with no less than 4-1 after a magical performance. With that big win, the 2-1 loss that Ajax suffered three weeks ago in the Johan Cruijff Arena was largely undone.

Tons of things were awesome in yesterday’s match, but let’s just look at three things that really caught our eye.

First off, Dusan Tadic was the man of the match, with an absolute screamer of a goal for the 0-3 and this perfect ‘Zidane’ which set up the 2nd goal by Neres:

Next up, the goal of the match, a stunning free-kick by Schone.

Really they don’t come any better than this?

And last, schadenfreude:

Sergio Ramos, who got a yellow card in the first game in Amsterdam and was suspended. He would have deliberately caught that yellow card and was therefore suspended for another game by UEFA. “Thanks to Ramos”, the thousands of frenzied Ajax fans sang in the visitors’ section.
