Dutch tourists in Sri Lanka to be flown back in the next few days

Dutch tourists who are currently in Sri Lanka, and are traveling with a travel organisation, are going to be flown back.

There were a series of bomb blasts in the country’s capital on Easter Sunday, where the current revised death toll is 253 people.

This comes after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued travel advice for only essential travel to the country. Calamity Fund, the fund coordinating this along with other travel organisations, will be bringing back between 300 and 400 people, reports RTLNieuws. This decision was made together with the travel organisations, where the travellers will be able to fly back in the next few days.

The Dutch vacationers can fly back using the services of travel organisations like KLM and Emirates, and the fund will cover the costs.
