Dutch hip-hop is not the music to everybody’s ears (funny video inside!)

Dutch music? Ja or Nee?

You may have heard of ‘Teens react’ or ‘Kids react’, a hugely popular YouTube channel, where they get people to react to subjects of their choice. This month they put out a video ‘Teens react to Dutch pop and hip-hop songs.’ Where they showed clips of Dutch music to American teens. Unless you live in the Netherlands (or are Dutch or Belgian), the chances of you coming across a lot of Dutch music is probably unlikely.

The reactions are pretty mixed and I for one have had Dutch music as a guilty pleasure for the past couple of years (guilty pleasure because the lyrics make no sense to me, yet don’t worry, I know how ridiculous some of the lyrics are).

Watch this hilarious clip and let us know what you think! 😉
