Not liking the weather we’ve had? It’s set to improve this week (but it’s not quite summer yet!)

Many of us have been moaning about how cold it’s been over the past couple of weeks and it certainly doesn’t feel like the middle of May at all. Over the past few years, it’s been mid-20 sort of weather at this time of year, but not this year.

When you want it to be summer, but the weather isn’t playing ball

Sadly we’re not expecting any of that any time soon and hey, we’re used to it, we live in the Netherlands. The good thing to know is that it is getting warmer and the weather is improving – it’s just not something to write home about just yet. So, what’s going down this week?

Monday

Pretty much the whole of today is gone already and the weather wasn’t too shabby at all. Tonight we can expect temperatures of 5 degrees, so it’s pretty damn cold considering it’s May.

Tuesday

On Tuesday we can expect sunshine with cloudy patches and another dry day. Temperatures will reach 16 degrees Celsius and will fall to around 4 degrees in the night.

Wednesday

We’re expected to get a really sunny Wednesday, with clear blue skies and not much wind. Despite the sunny day, temperatures will still only reach 16 degrees and again will fall to around 5 degrees throughout the night.

Thursday

Thursday we can expect another dry day, with sun and cloud and temperatures of 16 degrees (yet again, huh?)

Friday

Oh, what the heck, in short: The temperature is exactly the same every day this week and it isn’t going to rain just yet. So, it’s certainly an improvement, but we can’t head to the beach just yet. Hopefully, this weekend will bring us great weather, but we’ll have to wait and see. 😉

How are you liking this weather? Love it? Or really would you rather the heat instead? Let us know in the comments!
