There will be snow this Tuesday!
The predicted snowfall on Tuesday will probably lead to some disruptions of flights to, from or via Amsterdam, reports KLM. Significant problems are also expected on the road too during both morning and evening rush hours.
Tuesday’s snow will span from the west to the east of the Netherlands.
According to Weerplaza, the first shower is expected at 8:00 in the west of the country. The snow might lead to a regional snow cover of 1 to 3 centimeters.
Both the morning and evening rush hours are going to undergo some inconveniences.
According to Weeronline, snowfall in the Randstad can lead to slipperiness and traffic jams during the morning rush hour. A mix of rain and wet snow is expected in the coastal areas. However, as the zone moves further into the country, there is more ‘normal’ snow.
Probably some flight interruptions at Schiphol.
There will most certainly be flights at Schiphol, although it is not yet possible to predict how many cancellations there will be. KLM advises customers to keep a close eye on the status of their flight in the coming days. Delays and adapted train times are also provided on the tracks.
So, bundle up, stay warm, and bike with caution! Let us know how the snow is treating you in the comments below.
