Weather improving this week in the Netherlands (for now!)

We’ve had a wild ride over the last few weeks (over the last YEAR even), in the Netherlands. It’s been a typical Dutch spring (summer?), where one minute it’s like 30 degrees Celsius and you’re out getting sunburnt just walking to the shop, and the next the city is flooding because of a storm. Well, the good news is that we’re pretty safe this week, but it’s all going to change this weekend.

Literally us for like the whole year now…

Today

In case you haven’t noticed, today has been pretty grey so far (yet some of you have been lucky and just had sunshine). This is going to improve after lunchtime, with sunny spells and 21 degrees Celsius. The evening is going to be especially nice – so an evening walk maybe?

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is a glorious day, with clear blue skies and 24 degrees Celsius (why isn’t this the weekend). It’s by far the best day all week, and you’re most likely going to be at work for it (urgh).

Thursday

Thursday is a hot day, at 26 degrees Celsius! However, it’s pretty overcast, so it’s that annoying sticky Dutch weather. The sun is only going to be out for 60-70% of the day. Why is life so cruel.

Friday

Friday is similar to Thursday, only it’s a couple of degrees cooler. The sun will make an appearance every now and then and it’s lovely and hot. There’s no chance of any rain too (hurrrah)!

Weekend

Ah, see this is when it all starts to change. I mean of course it will, it’s the weekend, why make the weather nice on the weekend? The weather yet again is confused on Sunday: rain, storms, sun, heat. We’ll keep you updated. But yeah, I’m pretty p**sed off too! Yet don’t panic – it might change yet!

Don’t forget to join our DutchReview Facebook group for more Dutch stuff! You know you wanna. 😉
