The weather this weekend is going to be OK. Yes, that is the best way to describe it. Just OK. Here is what we can expect over the following days.
Today (Friday)
Today the weather is already starting with a big ‘meh’. Cloudy with the chance of rain – so Dutch! The highest temperature will be around 20 degrees Celsius, so at least we won’t be cold today. Other than that, it’s going to be a very gloomy Friday. Definitely not the best way to get your weekend mood on! But don’t worry about that. The weekend is going to be pretty ‘meh’ as well, so no need to get pumped up at all!
Saturday
On Saturday, the highest temperature will reach 24 degrees Celsius with a 50% of sunshine. Ok, I’ll be honest – this is definitely an upgrade! As someone who is used to 30 degree summers, I am not impressed but I’m not disappointed either. Maybe it’s not the June weather we expected, but it’s the June weather we can live with. It can always get worse, right? (yes, this right now is called foreshadowing) I guess the beach will have to wait for a bit longer.
Sunday
On Sunday, the temperature is going to be a tiny bit lower. With a forecast of 22 degrees Celsius and a 60% of sunshine (yay!) the weather is going to be quite OK. Make sure to enjoy that Sunday, by either going out or just staying at home and relaxing at the terrace. Whatever you do, make sure to soak up as much sunshine as you can! (because foreshadowing)
Next Week
So remember that thing I said about foreshadowing. Well, here it is! Next week is not going to be oh so pleasant. The temperatures are reported to drop below 20 degrees Celsius, accompanied by a whole lot of clouds and rain. At least this is the forecast for the beginning of the week. Fingers crossed that things will get better by next weekend!
