New night train alert! European Sleeper has announced a new route in collaboration with German railway company RDC: a sleeper train that travels from Brussels via the Netherlands to Copenhagen and Malmö.
The train is expected to make the same stops in the Netherlands as the current night train to Prague. This means it will travel from Brussels and stop in Roosendaal, Rotterdam Centraal, The Hague HS, Amsterdam Centraal, and Deventer.
You’ll just have to wait a few years. The route is expected to launch in April 2028.
Where will it stop?
Once it leaves the Netherlands, the next confirmed stop is Copenhagen, Denmark. From there, it will travel on to Malmö, Sweden.
While the train will pass through Germany, it is not yet confirmed whether it will stop there. For example, it will pass through Hamburg, but this will be in the middle of the night, so whether it’s worth including this as a stop is up in the air.
According to Treinreiziger.nl, the companies are also still in the process of finalising the timetable.
However, they expect to depart both Brussels and Malmö at 7 PM, with the trains reaching their final destination at around 10 AM the next morning.

The coming years will be busy ones for European Sleeper, with the company also launching a new night train between Brussels and Milan on September 9, 2026.
They also plan to launch night trains between Amsterdam and Barcelona in 2028.
Forget the planes, the next few years will be all about taking your pillow and snoozing your way to your holiday destination.
