If you haven’t noticed, these days Holland has been going through a heatwave. In fact, this heatwave has been so bad, that the government had to take certain measures in order to ensure people’s safety. And despite the thunder and showers in the afternoon, the weather still remained pretty damn hot. All of this lead to some record breaking temperatures. The Netherlands registered the hottest night ever last night. According to reports, the temperature remained above 23.6 degrees in De Bilt the whole night. The hottest temperature was recorded in the Gelderland Deelen at 24.4 degrees.

What to expect today
Today it is expected to be even hotter than yesterday! With the expected temperature of 37 degrees Celsius we are bound to suffer once again. And who said global warming is not real? Trump! Trump said global warming is not real.
Anyways, despite the high temperatures, we’re also expecting some showers today so hopefully it will help us cool off a bit. However, the real question remains if we’ll be able to sleep tonight. Hopefully there will be no record breaking temperatures this evening, so we can all finally get some shut eye without drowning in our own sweat.
Also, it looks like today will be the last really hot day of the week. Starting this weekend the temperatures are expected to go down by as much as 10 degrees Celsius. So all we have to do is survive through today!

We were forthseeing enough to install a ceiling fan in our bedroom, last week! It made a huge difference! We slept very well! For the dog we left a large wet bath towel on the floor downstairs. Instead of a hot dog we had a cool dog! ?
Slept with a dan directed straight on me and we also keep ac on dyring the day to help cool inside
At midnight it was still 30 degrees in my bedroom. I put a plastic bag with a wet towel on the foot of my bed. With the fan blowing over my feet I fell asleep.
