Yes, this sounds like another of our weird stories again. And guess what, it is. You may have read this story before, but yesterday it was reported that the cleaning company has apologised to the poor man. Read on if you’re having a crappy (AHAHA) midweek and want some lighthearted news.
Before we begin, don’t worry, the man was rescued on the same night. He hasn’t been sitting there all this time! Could you imagine!?
Stuck in a portable toilet after King’s day? Enough to enter the chunder train.
Anyway, stuff went down in Engelbert in Groningen when a man was trapped inside a portable toilet. A man (who was clearly enjoying all the King’s day fun like us), fell asleep on the toilet on King’s night and was in there for 6 hours. Whilst he was asleep, the toilet was loaded into a truck to be taken away.
When he eventually woke up, he found that he was unable to open the door, because other toilets were blocking it on the truck. Damn, no one wants to be trapped in circle of human waste. Luckily, he had enough battery on his phone (unlike some of us after King’s day) to phone the police. The person on the end of that phone would have had that unbe’loo’vable phone call to take (sorry, that joke was actually horrendous).
Apology accepted
The company has now officially apologised. They provided him with a ‘sorry’, a bouquet of flowers, an alarm clock (for obvious reasons) and a cleaning package (so if he ever gets trapped in his toilet at home, he can has something to do I’m guessing). He was satisfied with the apology and that’s the end of this truly bizarre story. Usually they ensure that no one is in the portable toilets by seeing if the lock was used. In this case it wasn’t, so he likely fell asleep with it unlocked. So it looks like they’re going to have to go into every portable toilet now.
