The weather this weekend in the Netherlands will be what we all needed

The weather this weekend in the Netherlands will finally allow us to cool down a bit. Here is the forecast for the last weekend of July in Holland.

Friday (a.k.a today)

Ok, so before we get to the good part we have to give it a final push. Today is going to be one of the hottest days this summer, with an expected temperature of 37 degrees Celsius. Code ‘orange’ has also been announced, so make sure to be very careful today and stay hydrated. However, despite the high temperatures, weirdly enough we are also expecting some rain and thunder. Yes, it’s strange but just go with it! We just have to survive through today!

Saturday (a.k.a tomorrow)

Saturday is the day when this nation shall be reborn! With an expected temperature of 24 degrees Celsius, we well finally be able to breathe again. However, be aware that some thunderstorms may creep up on us. So as weird as it may sound – take an umbrella if you’re going out. In fact, always take an umbrella when you’re going out, because this is the Netherlands and the weather is just a hot mess all the time!

Sunday

Sunday will be a mixture of cloudy and sunny, with a forecast of 25 degrees Celsius. Good news – we will be able to breathe. Bad news – the last day of the weekend won’t really classify as ‘beach weather’. So if you haven’t realized it yet, the last weekend of July will be all sorts of weird.

Bonus round: Monday

As you can see, Monday so far isn’t looking that bad either. Cloudy, yet sunny with a forecast of 26 degrees Celsius.  Let’s hope another heatwave won’t be coming our way for the rest of the summer.
