After last week’s hell, many of us are curious what the weather this week in the Netherlands will be like. Well, in my humble opinion the best way to describe it is “roller coaster ride”. Here is what we can expect in the following days.
Today (Monday)
Today is already quite the refreshing day! Not too hot, yet not too cold. However, according to forecasts the temperature today will reach 27 degrees Celsius. But not to worry! Clouds and rain will be present throughout the day to keep things in check for us. Where the hell were they last week?
Tuesday
On Tuesday the temperatures will be a bit lower (hurray?). With a forecast of 24 degrees Celsius I’m pretty sure this still counts as a hot summer in the Netherlands, though. There will be sunshine, there will be clouds, there will be rain. Dutch Mother Nature will just keep you guessing the whole day.
Wednesday
The weather on Wednesday is the last day when we’ll get to enjoy some clouds. With a forecast of 25 degrees Celsius, mixed with some sunshine and clouds could be considered the last “refreshing” day of the week. From then on, some serious PTSD from last week may kick in.
Thursday
Thursday is when the fun start (not really)! With a forecast of 26 degrees Celsius and not a cloud in sight, everyone in Holland will be swept by the fear of another heatwave. But don’t don’t forget that this is a roller coaster, so the worst is yet to come. Summer intensifies!
Friday
Looks like Friday will be the hottest day of the week. According to the forecasts, the temperature will reach 28 degrees Celsius with a whole lot of sunshine. Let’s just hope that the weekend offers us some comfort with some lower temperatures. Oh, the anticipation!
