Check out what is left of New Amsterdam in New York. Video inside!

The remains of New Amsterdam

This video explains what is left from the Dutch period in New Amsterdam. Nowadays, of course, Lower Manhattan doesn’t look quite the same as it did back then. The main thing that is left, is a map which can be accurately used to get around, from that era.

This 4-part video delves into that era and what has changed. There is also tons on both Dutch and American history, it’s really interesting.

A nice little Dutch/American history lesson for you all today 😉

Check it out! Also don’t forget to let us know what you think!
