Police arrest a student after shooting inside his school

The police in Roermond arrested a student on Friday morning after he went to school with a firearm and an ax. He has fired shots inside and outside the school. No one was hurt thank god.

So what happened in Roermond?

The teenager arrived at the Knowledge and Expertise Center (KEC) at 8.30 am on the Donderberg, after which he took out the firearm and the ax. Teachers at the school have tried to stay in conversation with him. Agents have overpowered him later.

As far as known to the police, the boy had arguments with a fellow student. The boy would have carried several weapons with him. The police have found several bullet cases that are being investigated at the moment

There is a lot of police at the school, which will hold a meeting for the parents on Friday afternoon. It is now being checked whether victim support is needed for the pupils, KEC is a center for ‘special education’ and care.
