Good news to all Formula 1 followers – the Zandvoort circuit will open up again for the Grand Prix of the Netherlands in May 2020! We don’t know the exact date yet, but we should know soon enough. According to NOS, a three-year contract has been concluded for this circuit.
Formula 1 will be returning to the dune circuit after 35 years. With Heineken as the title sponsor, the entire project for 2020 is worth about 40 million euros. Other big names who will be joining are Talpa, PON, Gazelle, Jumbo, and Volker-Wessels.

Formula 1 Zandvoort circuit is far from ready
it also poses a “logistical challenge“, where the accessibility of the location needs to be worked out thoroughly. ProRail has said that it would be difficult to transport people to the resort within hours because the present railway is completely unsuitable. So they have to work out how to get people to the location.
