April showers for the Netherlands throughout the next week!

After the most amazing weekend ever (especially after our crappy cold weather), I’m afraid to say that it’s not going to last. Ah, the tradition Dutch weather is back you say? YUP. April is in full swing, which means lots and lots of April showers! So grab your waterproofs and prepare to get wet every once and a while this week.

I. Am. Not. Amused.

Today

Today was misleading. When you first wake up you think, ‘Oh, what a lovely sunny day!’ and you were wrong, because then it pours down. Now it doesn’t know what it’s doing. That’s basically today’s weather in a nutshell.

Tomorrow

Yet another weird-ass and annoying day. Rain, cloud, sun, even a thunderstorm for some of us. Low of 11 degrees celcius and highs of 16.

Wednesday

Today is going to be a similar day for most of us. Yet again the weather doesn’t really know what it wants to do. There is going to be outbreaks of heavy rain, lots of grey clouds and a chance of some sun every now and then. Temperatures have highs of 15 degrees celcius and lows of 10.

Thursday

The weather is starting to improve now. Sadly, it’s still going to rain, but it will be less frequent and less heavy. We should see a lovely bit of sun today also. I’d still take your waterproofs JUST in case. 😉

Friday

Nooo… the heavy rain is back again. Yet again it’s one of those days where no one knows what the hell is going on with the weather. Then you’re not sure whether to crack out the sunglasses or wear your coat. Sorry, I can’t help with with that one. Highs of 16 degrees celcius and lows of 9 today.

Weekend

Rejoice! The rain should be kept at bay over the weekend. It’s almost as hot as it was last weekend, only it’s going to be a bit more overcast. There is going to be highs of 19 degrees and don’t even get me started on next week. It says pure sun and warmth all week! (Please be true, please be true).

We’ll keep you updated! Until then, don’t forget to join our Facebook group, you know you wanna.
