Feelin’ Hot, Hot, Hot: Weather to reach 30 degrees Celsius this weekend!

30 degrees? Yes, please!

It’s mid-week and we’re already getting far too excited for this weekend. It’s looking to be a glorious weekend for us all in the Netherlands! For most of us, temperatures will just be touching the 30s, this coming weekend. So don’t forget your sunnies and sun cream, because it’s going to be a gorgeous, hot weekend. Summer has arrived, eeeeek.

So, what’s the weather going to be like in the Netherlands each day?

(If you have hayfever or seem to attract mosquitos like I’m attracted to stroopwafels, then good luck!) 😉

Saturday

Saturday is going to be a hot day, with temperatures reaching 28 degrees Celsius! There also won’t be a cloud in the sky. Definitely a beach day or a BBQ day or a cocktails in the sun day or all 3! It gets a bit nippy in the night though, with temperatures going down to 13 degrees Celsius (pros: at least we can sleep well).

Sunday

Sunday is slightly hotter, at 29 degrees Celcius, with some places reaching into the 30s. Again, not a single cloud in the sky. HELL YEAH! Temperatures will drop back down to 15 degrees in the night, so not too bad for us sleepy heads. Another day to definitely get out and enjoy the weather while it lasts.

Next week

Sad news for next week. So far it looks as if only Monday or Tuesday will provide us with our summer fix and we are back down to cooler temperatures. We’ll keep you updated next week – fingers crossed the nice weather will stick around for a little longer! Godamn you the Netherlands, for teasing us.

What are your plans for this sunny weekend? Let us know in the comments! While you’re here, don’t forget to join our DutchReview Facebook group for more Dutch stuff. You know you wanna!
