Hot, Hot, Hot! The weather is looking mighty fine this weekend

It’s hot again? In the Netherlands? REALLY?

In case you haven’t noticed. It’s been pretty damn humid (for the Netherlands anyway). So, is this going to change? Nope. So, unfortunately, you’re going to have to keep your fan blowing on your face on every night. BUT, with a bit of luck, it won’t be so frigging overcast this weekend. (BEACH ANYONE?) It’s okay guys, we got this!

Saturday

Saturday is going to be a hot one – it’s almost 30 degrees Celsius! This is actually causing the Netherlands to break a May temperature record. Luckily for us, the sun is going to be out 80% of the time, so hopefully this time round it won’t be so overcast. There is no chance of rain (thank the lord – you just wait till next week). So maybe a day to get your sweats on. Drinking beer might solve that. 😉

Sunday

Sunday is another hot day, at 26 degrees Celsius. It’s going to slightly less sunny, but again, keep your fingers and toes crossed that it’s not like the rest of the week, where it’s just muggy and cloudy. I guess we’ll find out when we wake up and start cursing at the sky.

Next week

Monday is just pure madness – it doesn’t know what it wants. Sun, rain, cloud, thunder, heat – just a day in the life of people in the Netherlands. And I’m not going to pretend that the rest of the week isn’t going to being similar. So let’s just wait and see and hope that it changes – else we’re going to be getting pretty wet on the way to work.

What will you be doing this weekend? Let us know in the comments! And don’t forget to join our DutchReview Facebook group! 😉
