Temperatures to reach almost 30 degrees: Summer weather is on its way (and it may actually happen this time!)

We’ll save our breath (rant) this time around, seeing as we spend every single weather article moaning about how unpredictable Dutch weather is. We see that good weather is on its way, we get all happy and make plans and then it’s totally underwhelming. Thankfully, not this time!

Temperatures are set to climb to just short of 30 degrees next week! Before we get onto that, we’ll give you the lowdown on this weekend.

This weekend

We were promised temperatures in the mid-20s this weekend and it’s fallen short (admittedly, they weren’t 100% sure). Now we’re set for temperatures in the early 20s, with a chance of showers. Sunday is looking to be the best day and pretty warm too. Bike time! It could be worse, eh?

Next week

Next week we’re expecting temperatures to climb as the week goes on. By midweek we’re expecting temperatures of 30 degrees in the east and only a couple of degrees cooler for the rest of the country. Is the summer finally here? We’d like to think so!

Check your weather apps and get planning! These days don’t come around as often as we’d all like.

What are your plans? Let us know in the comments!
