The weather this week in the Netherlands is going to be hella cold! But let’s put on our rose-colored glasses and look at the weather this week in a positive light.
Monday (Today)
Did you think today was cold? Well, unfortunately (thankfully?) today’s weather is actually warmer than what we could be expecting for the rest of the week. With an expected temperature of 6 degrees Celsius and nothing but clouds, it is safe to say that the Netherlands is transitioning from autumn to full on winter. So make sure to grab your coats, hats, scarfs, and gloves before setting foot outside your doorstep.
Tuesday
Tuesday is going to be one heck of a crazy day. We’re expecting sun, clouds, rain, and 4 degrees Celsius. And all of that accompanied by snow in some areas. Yes, snow! Some places in the Netherlands will be experiencing their first snowfall of the year. And while it won’t last for too long, it is always better to be freezing when there’s pretty snowflakes flying around. Right?
Wednesday
On Wednesday we’ll be bringing the temperature back up a notch. 5 degrees Celsius to be more precise. However, it might feel a lot warmer, since we’re also expecting the sun to be popping out every now and then. So you know what to do! Make sure to enjoy those rays of sunshine while you still can.
Thursday
On Thursday the temperature is going to dip once again, going back to 4 degrees Celsius. However, this time we shall not be expecting any snow (sad!). There’s going to be a mixture of sunshine and clouds, and according to the forecast little to no rain! Now all we have to do is hang on ’till the weekend.
Friday
It’s finally Friday and the weather doesn’t look all that bad either! With a forecast of 6 degrees Celsius, and quite some sunshine, you are bound to get excited for the weekend! Not to mention that it’s also the perfect weather to go for drinks after work with your colleagues. Whatever you do, just make the most out of this day, because with December approaching, we’ll be freezing again in no time.
