3 things to do this weekend in the Netherlands

Stuck on what to do this weekend?

So you may have seen our weather forecast, and feel like the weekend is a bit of a hit and miss. But don’t just use it as an excuse to Netflix and chill – here are some ideas to get you ticking over. P.S. It’s totally worth doing all of these.

1. Rotterdam Rooftop Days

If you’re a Rotterdammer or you live nearby, then you shouldn’t miss this. Rotterdam Rooftop Days is basically a day where everyone has the opportunity to view Rotterdam in a different light, by exploring over 40 different rooftops. Some of these are usually closed to the public, so it’s a unique experience. There is lots to do, including music, workshops and silent discos, so don’t miss out! No, seriously, don’t.

2. Leiden Museum Night

After another cool city museum night? Well, here you are! Leiden museum night begins on Saturday night, with many cool museums taking part. Apart from having access to museums, there is also films, guided tours, music and even an afterparty (if you like a cocktail or 7). So if you’re after a little bit of history, paired with a lot of fun, then you know what you should be doing this weekend!

3. Taste of Amsterdam Food festival

The Tase of Amsterdam Food Festival is coming to Amsterdam in Amstelpark this weekend! In the mood to stock your stomach up on some lekker grub? Well, then you know where to go. It’s renowned for being attended by well-known chefs and offers more than just food to try. Other events such as wine tasting and cooking masterclasses also take place during this food festival. So if you’re really stuck on where to go this weekend, well, no need to thank us. 😉
