In a bizarre video the current Foreign Affairs minister of the Netherlands, Stef Blok has said some pretty crazy stuff which is sure to dominate the public discourse in the Netherlands for the coming days.
Stef Blok thought he was in a non-public meeting
In what he thought was a non-public meeting, Stef Blok just said whatever the hell he was thinking. Here are 30 seconds of footage captured by the Dutch tv-program Zembla which contains plenty of crazy stuff already.

In here are quote’s about that ‘a multi-cultural society can’t live in harmony, show me one because I haven’t seen it yet’ and that we shouldn’t count in the US or Australia because they ‘exterminated their local populations’ – jeeh, that’s not the diplomatic thoughtful stuff we expect to see our FM minister uttering.
He also stated that Surinam, a former colony of the Netherlands, is a failed state because political lines are drawn there on the basis of different ethnicities.
Stef Blok should know better
Stef Blok’s reaction is already here, stating that ‘some of these illustrations aren’t really suited for the public debate’. It’s especially strategically stupid since the last Foreign Affairs minister of the Netherlands, Zijlstra – had to resign from his post due to making up stories about meeting with Putin. We’ll see how this one plays out.
