This is what Dutch kids like nowadays: ‘Op me Monnie’

I’m officially an old geezer now, and you probably too. This weekend while working on the epic DutchReview youtube channel (subscribe!) I made the mistake to check what was #trending on Youtube. Clearly on the topspot was some girl called ‘Famkelouise’ with more than 4 million views – the Netherlands has 17 million inhabitants so clearly some people were streaming this one harder than Trump goes nuts about a positive piece of Obama news.

Apparently this is what Dutch kids are into nowadays, now they’re either complete retards or I’m just getting old (spoilers: it’s both!) because I can’t for the love of god get what’s it about. Maybe you can:

Abuzer founded DutchReview a decade ago because he thought expats needed it and wanted to make amends for the Dutch cuisine. He has a Masters in Political Science and IT but somewhere always wanted to study history or good old football. He also a mortgage in the Netherlands and will happily tell you too how to get one. Born and raised in Rotterdam, Abuzer now lives in Leiden but is always longing back to his own international year in Italy.
