Friday (a.k.a Today)
Today (as you can see) is a lovely mixture of cloudy and sunny. Just when you are about to start cursing at the sun for being too hot, these lovely clouds sweep in and help you cool down. And this has been going on all day. With a forecast of 21 degrees Celsius at its highest, today is the perfect start to a lovely weekend.
Saturday
On Saturday it’s going to be 20 degrees Celcius (yay!), and cloudy (yay?). So thanks to those lovely clouds we won’t be scorched by the sun’s death rays. Plus, this is as good as Dutch summer can get! So if you’re a foreigner who has recently moved to Holland, just know that this is what the Dutch call ‘summer’. The key to happiness is having low expectations when it comes to summer in the Netherlands!

Sunday
Sunday is going to be more sun and less clouds. However, with a forecast of 18 degrees Celsius you can still go out and do a ton of fun activities. In fact, you can do anything you want instead of watching the stupid World Cup. Who needs it anyways? It’s not like Germany is playing against Mexico, or Brazil is playing against Switzerland. Who cares? Everyone knows the World Cup is no fun if the Dutch are not playing!
Next Week
In the beginning of next week it’s going to get hot in here! The temperature is set out to be above 20 degrees Celsius every day, with little to no clouds. Going to work will sure suck when it’s literally beach weather outside! Oh Netherlands, you always have the best weather at the most inconvenient times.
