Coping with the aftermath of her 3-year stint in the Netherlands, Kavana is a writer, content creator and editor for DutchReview. Hailing from India, she frequently blogs about the Netherlands, being Indian in the Netherlands, and everything in between. She envisions herself to one day be the youngest person to win that Nobel Prize for Literature (she is also not very humble but welcomes only constructive criticism). In the meantime, she fills her days with writing for DutchReview, writing her master's thesis on art theft, and writing fiction that will hopefully see the light of day soon.

  1. It was funny to see the next headline while the article was talking about “no water” 🙂

  2. I travel daily by train. Imust say trains in netherlands are not reliable in terms of services and money wise. For some small small reasons trains gets delayed or cancelled.

  3. As a consumer from NS of 3 years, I’m not surprised whatsoever. The service with NS is highly inconsistent; numerous times I requested refunds for delays and there’s always some excuse, and when I did get a refund, I always received past due limit of waiting period and have had to call to request the refund. The system to request refunds is not user friendly, specially if you don’t speak Dutch.
