🚨 Expressions of interest open now

First off, here are the details:

What?

As a business development intern, you'll initiate, plan and set up projects that will help DutchReview scale to new heights. You'll have creativity, flexibility, and the chance to try out new ideas — because this is a whole new role!

When?

Each internship period is six months with the opportunity to progress into a full-time or part-time role afterwards for the right candidate. You'll work four days a week, with at least two days at our office in Leiden. Of course, we're flexible, so reach out if you need it a bit different.

Where?

Throughout the whole country, of course — we’re reviewing the Dutch! However, our physical office is in Leiden at the innovative hotspot PLNT.

I loved being a DutchReview intern. I got to write stories that interested me, learnt so much about SEO, and practiced running successful social media campaigns. I went on video shoots, reviewed amazing places, and got to pitch ideas to help DutchReview succeed. It gave my resume a huge boost, and I had a great time doing it!

FYI: we're only looking for the best

Is that you? Let's check...
  • You speak English fluently (and a good understanding of Dutch is extra points)
  • You're curious about what makes a digital media business tick and want to help us take our operations to the next level
  • You're a great listener who can understand the wishes and needs of our (potential) partners
  • You're creative and full of ideas — we mean it when we say we really like independent thinkers!
  • You can work independently and deal with weekly deadlines
  • You have some experience with online marketing, SEO, project management, newsletter marketing, creative business, or just have jaw-dropping ideas
  • You have your own, reasonable-quality laptop to work on
  • You live within commuting distance to our HQ in the stunning university town of Leiden
  • Extra points if you have a relevant degree (e.g. media & communications, business administration, commercial economics, creative business, (online) marketing)
  • But by far the most important is your attitude and willingness to get yourself and us ahead!

Do I get paid?

Natuurlijk!
You'll receive €600/month and a travel contribution.
There's also a bonus structure that will get you excited.
There are also free events, access to prime hotspots, and (occasionally) free cheese to review!

You got me, how do I apply?

Here are two easy steps

1. Tell us why you're the best

Prepare your CV and a motivation letter in true DutchReview tone (English, witty, informal). Then, submit your application below.
